OASys Radar LSTC Certified on AS350
Dallas, Texas, February 9, 2003— Amphitech International has received a Limited Supplementary Type Certificate (LSTC) for its OASys Radar installed on a AS 350 B3 helicopter. LSTC certified, the aircraft is starting a USA Demo Tour to demonstrate OASys radar performance in flight.
Pierre Poitevin, ICX Radar Systems' Engineering Director stated "We are excited by the certification on a new helicopter type after many months of planning, installation and testing the aircraft with OASys on board. Our plan is to accomplish at least 5 more helicopter types this year following receipt of the OASys Radar Type Certificate scheduled for late March.
