After obtaining its Limited Supplemental Type Certificate (LSTC) for Bell 212 helicopters in October 2002, ICX Radar Systems applied and obtained an appliance type certificate for the OASys AI-130 in August 2003. Furthermore, LSTCs for AS350 and B212 have been completed and work is under way to develop and apply for STC installation kit as opportunities arise.
Obtention of Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) and Joint Airworthiness Regulation (JAR) 145 certification will be the next step. These two certification steps, which will allow the enterprise to perform maintenance on OASYS Radar, should be completed by the first quarter of 2004.
