High Performance Miniature MMW radar
A uniquely packaged high performance radar with all components in the volume of a coffee can.
This compact millimeter wave radar is designed to be vertical mounted. Provided only with power, it returns image frames via an Ethernet interface, ensuring rapid and low cost system integration. The system weighs a mere 10 Lbs., making installation a snap.
Applications for this compact radar range from perimeter security of strategic facilities to special operations missions from a variety of platforms (ground, maritime or aerial vehicle).
The radar may be programmed to sweep 360° or individual sectors per the mission requirements. The system may also be integrated with a vessel or navigation system which can provide the radar with vehicle heading, enabling the radar to return north-up or track-up images as required.
The system has two basic power modes for short and long range with the shorter pulse short-range mode for most precise location of detected objects. Clutter suppression is achieved via sensitivity control as well as in video processing (included in support package).
